Most Memorable Shooting Moment

Top scoring for Australia in Palma Match, 1995 in NZ and in the Australia Match Pontville, 1997.  Also being involved as both shooter and coach in Tasmania’s two consecutive wins in the Rowlands Trophy - the first team to achieve this  (2003 & 2004).

Score more points than the opposition.

Other Interests   

Make the odd rifle stock, dabble in wood turning and play in the local Fire Brigade (Tas Fire Service Member for the last 35 years, Brigade Chief for the last 11). 

 

Ancestry

From both sides of the track. 

English on both sides, plus a bit of Scot (honorary life member of NRCS).

One side, family of cabinet makers from Whitby; the other side from one Rosanne Burns who arrived here courtesy of HM’s Cruise Ships.  Official manifesto described her as red haired, freckled, and four foot eleven, so apparently some of the genes have gotten lost somewhere.
