Selection
The Australian Match Rifle Team is selected by the National Rifle Association of Australia to represent Australia in international competitions such as the Woomera Match against Great Britain. The competition alternates between being held in Great Britain and in Australia
The NRAA calls for nominations for the Team
12-18 months ahead of the event through advertisement in the Australian
Target Rifle Magazine. If selected, team members will undertake regular training
events at selected locations within Australia. The next Woomera Match is to be
held at the Campbell Town Range in
Tasmania in 2016.
