Ungarie is approx 40km north west of West
Wyalong in central NSW. From West Wyalong, take the Ungarie Road (signposted to
Lake Cargellico) which is on the right traveling west at the western end of West
Wyalong and follow almost to Ungarie. On a bend just prior to the 60km sign
for Ungarie township there is a dirt road on the right signposted ‘Rifle
Range’. Range is ~ 1km down. When Match Rifle shooting is in progress, entrance
is via paddock gate at the back of the 1200 yard mound.
